This is funny (to me) because my union is the Local 510. But in any case I see this poor 510 wagon around and the nut job who owns in might even live in it. It says living fossil on the side and usually has some kind of message in the back window. He put shit wheel covers on it..... I would love to get my hands on it.

I hate seeing cool cars being abused by weirdos that don’t know what they have

My first car (a ‘92 Chevy Beretta) came with those hubcaps. Yuck.

Usually it’s toolbags who inherited them from grandpa or what not. That’s my theory at least on why so many well preserved, interesting cars end up in the hands of total shitbags. I imagine that they’ve sat in a garaged treasured by the owner or maybe just mostly unused due to declining health for decades. Then grandpa kicks it and leaves it to his 16 year old grandson who is an automotive moron and sees it as nothing but a free car. When I was 15 my great aunt died and willed me a mint, garaged, low mileage Oldsmobile Omega with a 4 speed manual and a 350 “Rocket” engine. I remember this because it said that right on the motor lol. My uncles bitched about it till my mom relented and let them sell it and split the money. 15 year olds have zero rights. Anyway they probably averted a tragedy as I wrecked the fuck out of the first car I actually owned. But man that Omega was sweet. Think “fancy Nova”.

Yeah, that's very probable. Oh man....I forgot about those, that would be an awesome first car, but also not awesome to wreck it

Oh man, that is sweet! A 4-speed model is SUPER rare. I had a ‘74 Buick Apollo for several years.
